Sessions & Fees

Classes are held Monday through Friday, mornings and afternoons. There is a two day per week program for 3 year old children. There are two, three or five days per week programs for 4 and 5 year old children. We offer a Lunch Special where parents can sign up daily, monthly or as needed so that the child can stay an extra hour during lunch. Children bring their own lunch, and this is a good time to develop social skills and enjoy an extra recess.

The half day program is offered in the morning and, on certain days, in the afternoon. Our school has an open enrollment policy. All children between the ages of 3 to 5 years of age are admitted to our program as long as:

• The school is able to meet their needs.
• Space permits.
• Without regard to race, religion, national origin, sex, parental status, or impairment (in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act).
• Children are 3 years old by October 1st of the current school year.
• Children are toilet trained.

We offer an extended care session on Fridays, called Friday Fun. This is open to any preschooler enrolled at First Step Preschool and their siblings who are 3 years old (and toilet trained) through 6 years old. Kindergarten siblings are welcome to join us. You may sign-up on the clipboard located on the wall in the hallway next to the office, or sign-up by phone, starting Monday morning beginning at 8:45 am. Please sign up by Wednesday of the week, if possible.
